sire v7 vs v5 - XoilacTV

I've had a few Sire Gen1s, a Fender Player Jazz, and currently a Sire V7 Gen2. I love the Sire for the tone, build, and feel. The Player series are really well made and a great release (my Player P Bass is wonderful).

The Sire V5 is a beautiful bass that sounds killer. I don't know how they can give you so much quality for so little money. In your opinion, would you do some upgrades on the V5?

But I'm wondering if anyone has experience of both models enough to give a verdict on the pickup difference and fretwork. I also actually prefer the more standard vintage bridge since I've had a 1st generation V7-4 string earlier and wasn't that fond of the so called hi-mass bridge.
